Meet Recap

The WMS woodridge Lady bulldogs dominated the track once again before Mother Nature ended the meet early. Without finishing the last two running events (200M, 4×400) the Lady bulldogs had a commanding lead of 51points over second place Crestwood and 74 points over 3rd place Mogadore.
Outstanding 1st place performances came from Maddie Karlo, Elise Carey, Anastasia Bakuhn, Izzie Best, Leah Olsen, and Brynna Kouri. The WMS girl long jumpers swept the event by taking places 1-4 led by 8th grader Leah Olsen. In the 200 meter Hurdles the lady bulldogs also swept the event led by 8th grader Maddie Karlo.
7th grader Izzie Best set a new Woodridge Middle School Girls record in the 400 Meter Dash running a time of 62.1seconds, the previous record was held and set by Maria Moore who ran a 62.3 second 400meter time. Congrats to Izzie and a fantastic performance, and to the girls team on another strong performance. This Saturday the girls will be traveling to Warren, Ohio to compete at the Champion Invitational Good luck ladies!
