Meet Recap

The Woodridge girls earned their 13th consecutive state championships berth with a strong 4th-place showing at the Northeast Ohio Regional Championships. Boardman High School hosted the meet on cold, wet afternoon and the Woodridge squad finished well. Senior Molly Howard ran the best race of her high school career to finish 5th overall and lead the crew. Libby Howard, Anastasia Bakuhn, Sarah Frederick, and Jenna Kaiser completed the scoring five for Woodridge. Rosie Sterling ran an outstanding race as the Bulldog six while freshman Leah Ziegler ran solid at seven.

The girls will travel to Hebron, Ohio and National Trail Raceway next weekend to try to defend their 2016 Ohio State Championship!
