Meet Recap

The Bulldog boys’ cross country team earned their 14th consecutive trip to Ohio’s biggest meet on Saturday in Boardman. The boys finished just behind top-ranked Rocky River for the second week in a row to finish second at the Boardman Regional and qualify to the State Championship meet in Hebron, Ohio next weekend.

Noah Perrin, Micah Blair, and Sam Dutt continue to lead the way for the Bulldogs as they finished 2nd, 4th, and 16th in the 19-team field. Freshman Ryan Champa continued his late-season push while Nedal Elkurd, Riley Galehouse, and Jack Willett rounded out the varsity.

The boys will race at 2:15 next weekend as they attempt to win the program’s 8th state championship and defend the 2016 title.
