Meet Recap

The Woodridge girls cross country crew is currently ranked 1st in Ohio. They backed up this ranking with a convincing win over state-ranked Cloverleaf at the Portage Trail Conference Metro Division Championship meet. The girls took 7 of the top 10 spots and 10 of the top 15 individuals in the race. Natalie Fleming, Nicole Fleming, Clare Willett, Libby Howard, and Molly Howard all finished in the top 6 to pace the Bulldogs. Sarah Frederick and Jenna Kaiser rounded out the varsity scorers while Mary Kiley, Katie Kearns, and Izzie Dolciato ran outstanding races.

Rosie Sterling, Emma Francis, Kate Holland, Jessa Patterson, Halle Grant, and Julia Adams had outstanding days as all of the non-varsity student-athletes finished their seasons with great performances.

The boys and girls will begin the OHSAA State Tournament run next weekend at Loraine Community College.
