In an effort to showcase the tremendous student athletes we have in our Woodridge community, we have continued our “Student Athlete of the Week” program which highlights one outstanding student athlete from each of our High School Varsity programs throughout the school year. The program is made possible through a partnership with Poiema Photo.
This week’s Student Athlete is Miles Ashbaugh.
Miles is a senior member of the Woodridge Football program. Miles is also involved in wrestling and baseball at Woodridge High School. Miles is a 2 year starter for the Bulldog Football team at Center. Miles earned 1st Team All-PTC last season and is looking to earn even more post season honors this year. Head football coach Jeff Decker says of Miles, “Miles has worked very hard throughout the year to make himself and his teammates better. Even though he participates in other sports, whenever he has free time, he is working hard in the weight room to make himself better. Miles is a valued member of our program and his leadership qualities are vital to our success.” Good luck to Miles and the entire Bulldog football program as they head to Chagrin Falls HS on Friday to take on the Tigers at 7pm.
