Bulldogs Shine at OHSAA T&F State Championships featuring 10 All-Ohio Honors and Boys Runner-Up Team Finish

The Woodridge boys and girls track & field teams wrapped up an outstanding 2025-26 season with a memorable performance at the OHSAA State Championships, earning a state championship, 10 All-Ohio honors, and a Division III Boys State Runner-Up finish at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium in Columbus.
Representing Woodridge on Ohio's biggest stage, Bulldog athletes delivered exceptional performances across sprints, hurdles, distance events, relays, and field events while showcasing the hard work and dedication that defined the season.
Leading the way was senior Ben LeBay, who captured the Division III State Championship in the 1600-meter run. LeBay's victory highlighted an impressive weekend for Woodridge's distance runners, as Xavier Griffiths earned fourth-place finishes in both the 1600-meter and 3200-meter runs, while Atticus Sloan placed seventh in the 3200 meters.
The boys 4x800-meter relay team of Ben LeBay, John Brock, Xavier Griffiths, and Atticus Sloan added another podium finish by placing third in the state, helping the Bulldogs secure the Division III Boys State Runner-Up trophy.
Woodridge's sprint and hurdle athletes also made their mark. Connor Hons earned All-Ohio honors with a seventh-place finish in the 110-meter hurdles, while Jalen Berry placed seventh in the 300-meter hurdles. Both athletes also contributed to a sixth-place finish in the boys 4x200-meter relay alongside Aiden Smith and Gage Caruthers.
The boys 4x100-meter relay team of Kai Jones, Andrew Stull, Aiden Smith, and John Tyree also earned All-Ohio honors with a sixth-place finish.
On the girls side, Amiyah Perry represented the Bulldogs with an outstanding performance in the 400-meter dash, earning All-Ohio honors with an eighth-place finish.
Woodridge also celebrated Michael Mami, who earned All-Ohio recognition in the seated shot put with a seventh-place finish.
The Bulldogs finished the weekend with 10 All-Ohio performances and a Division III Boys State Runner-Up finish, capping a remarkable season for both the boys and girls programs. The achievements reflect the commitment of the student-athletes, coaches, families, and supporters who helped make the 2025-26 season one to remember.
