The Woodridge boys cross country team grabbed their fourth win in as many opportunities with a team title at Boardman’s Spartan Invitational. There were a number of state-ranked teams in the field of nearly 400 runners.
Micah Blair finished third overall to pace the varsity competitors. The Bulldogs’ top 7 runners all finished in the top 35 of the race. Ryan Champa, Riley Galehouse, Zayd Elkurd, Sam Dutt, Ryan Kiley, Nedal Elkurd, and Andrew Lauck each ran well in the varsity race.
The boys overwhelmed the junior varsity competition as well. Andy Muha grabbed the win and was followed by Aaron Dutt (2nd), Marvin Montgomery (4th), Ryan Lauck (6th), and Greg Muha(10th) to represent the scorers. Reece Mercer, Caden Hibbs, Andrew Shaheen, and Conrad Haas also ran well.
