Tuesday was a great night to recognize our seven seniors and what they have contributed to the program!

The Bulldogs opened up the game out shooting Cloverleaf 13-0 in the first half and scoring four goals. The first goal was started on a great effort by junior defender Nic Tafini when he beat three cloverleaf players down the sidelines and then delivered a great cross to Josh’s Fleming for the easy tap in. The Bulldogs kept the pressure on as freshman Nolan Kuhlke was able to put in two back to back goals assisted by juniors Darren Vanyo and Nate Dunaj. To end the first half senior midfielder Jad ElGhazal had a great unassisted goal to send the Bulldogs into halftime up 4-0.

A few minutes into the second half the Bulldogs conceded a goal on a nice effort from Cloverleaf. After this goal however the Bulldogs applied more pressure and were able to put away two more goals. The first scored by senior Josh Fleming and assisted by Nate Dunaj. The second was scored by Manning Thiel and assisted by sophomore Cooper DeFrange.

The Bulldogs travel to Copley Fields Soccer Complex to take on Firestone on 10/10 at 4:30pm for their final game on the regular season. The Bulldogs record is now 5-5-5 (4-1-2). JV score: WHS 3 – 0 CHS.
