The Woodridge Bulldogs boys track and field team continued it’s undefeated start to the season with a victory at the Gene Kobus Relays at Perry High School.

Ryan Champa, Ryan Lauck, Andrew Lauck and Zayd Elkurd started the meet off on a good foot with a first place finish in the 4 x 1600m in a time of 19:38.23.

An all Junior quartet of Evan Wagner, Reece Mercer, Jeriah Schrack and Josh Mally placed second in the shuttle hurdles with a 1:06.12 effort.

The 4 x 100 had Carson Lehrer, Jacob Looman, Dom Stasik and Dayshawn placing third with a 46.79 effort.

The all Throwers 4 x 100 Rumbled to a 2nd place finish with the crew of Josh Samerdak, Brentyn Burden-Burns, Kaeden Cyc and Henry Leffler Beutel clocking a 53.40

Caden Hibbs, Chrstian Jenkins, Aaron Dutt and Andy Muha added another victory to the Bulldogs distance squads stellar season with a 8:38.82 win in the 4 x 800m

The Distance Medley team of Brayden Whited, Evan Wagner, Greg Muha and Micah Blair added another first place finish, winning the event in a time of 11:23.95

The Sprint Medley earned 3rd place as Nick Williams, Jacob Looman, Carson Lehrer and Kyle Carey clocked a 1:43.313

The 4×400 finished off the events on the track and Nolan Spencer, Caden Hibbs, Balin Soful and Christian Jenkins Placed 3rd with a 3:44.66 effort.

Out in the field events, the bulldogs did not earn any first place finishes, but came away with some key second and third place finishes to help earn the team championship.

Rich Fisher III and Brentyn Burden-Burns took second in the Shot Put relay with Fisher throwing 46′-2″ and Burns adding a 38′-3.75″ throw.

The Disc had Fisher throwing 113′-8″ and combining with Kaeden Cyc’s 99′-2″ effort to add 2nd place points to the Bulldogs tally.

The long jump duo of Burkley Upton (18′-6″) and Danny Batyrbaev (17′-11.25″) brought in a 3rd place finish for the Bulldogs.

The pole vault saw two boys go over 10′-0″ when Reece Mercer Vaulted 10′-0″ and Josh Mally went 10′-6″ to place 2nd in the event.

Next for the Bulldog boys will be a key league meet with Field and Springfield on Tuesday at home.
