The Woodridge girls’ cross country team grabbed seven of the top ten finishes to secure victory at the first Metro Athletic Conference Championship meet. This is the 5th consecutive conference championship for the girls and 15 wins in the last 16 years.
Izzy Best earned her third first-team all conference honors by finishing second overall to lead the Bulldog squad. Reese Reaman, Eloise Willett, Anastasia Bakuhn, and Kathryn Kiley joined Best with First-Team honors.
Joy McFarland, Thalia Johnston, Leighton Kline, and Anna Wojcik each earned Second-Team all conference honors with their top-15 finishes.
The girls will start their run to improve on their top ten finish from the 2019 season next weekend at the District Championships.
