Most of the Woodridge girls wrapped up their spring season at Austintown Fitch High School this weekend. After a successful campaign, only one Bulldog will compete in Columbus.

Freshman Izzy Best was the 800 meter champion and secured her place on the line at Ohio State’s Jesse Owens Stadium.

Senior Camryn Miller vaulted a lifetime best of 9′ 4″ to finish sixth in the event. Junior Libby Howard also grabbed sixth place points in the 3200 meter run. Best and Howard joined Anastasia Bakun and Evelyn Willett on the 3200 relay team that just missed the state meet by four seconds in a 7th place finish. Eleanor Sterling wrapped up a successful season in the discus while Erin Eby, Belle Norris, Elise Carey, and Best competed in the 800 relay. Eby also wrapped up a breakout season in the 100 meter hurdles.
