The Woodridge girls traveled to Lake Erie and finished second to the host Perry Pirates at the Gene Kobus Relays.
Camryn Miller and Sofia Davis continue to vault well and finished second in the meet. Delaney Duve earned a lifetime best in the long jump while Eleanor Sterling paced our throws crew. Erin Eby continues to lead a young hurdle crew while Elise Carey was one of the better sprinters among all competitors. Libby Howard anchored a couple distance relays to strong finishes as well. Julia Adams continued her strong start to the spring in number of sprint events.
In the field events, Sydney Rhone and Cher Strain scored the throwing events. Emma Stekelenburg and Catie Meehan grabbed points in the high jump. Leah Stanfield long jumped and joined Eby, Duve, and Chloe Rado with a runner up finish. Sarah Abood, Artesha Calhoun, Julia Adams, and Leighton Kline scored valuable sprint points. Rosie Sterling, Anastasia Bakuhn, Leah Zeigler, Evelyn Willett, Natalie Howard, Ellie Kleinhenz, and Anna Wojcik all performed really well! Finally, Bella Chirakos and Tabitha Ransom joined Ellie Sterling and Rhone on the throwers’ 4×100 meter relay for a runner up finish.
