The girls track and field squad traveled north to Perry High School for the Gene Kobus Relays. The temperatures dropped nearly 30 degrees on the trip north. The Bulldogs finished 2nd in the 8-team field to the host Pirates.
The Bulldog jumpers included four freshmen. Belle Norris and Delaney Duve teamed up to grab second place in the long jump competition while Evelyn Willett and Maddie Karlo scored the long jump. Junior Camryn Miller rounded out the scoring jumpers. Kiara King, Rachel Frierson, and Eleanor Sterling paced the throwers with strong days as well. In the running events, Bella Paratore, Libby Howard, Julianne Dryer, Molly Howard, and Elise Carey, Anastasia Bakuhn, and Jenna Kaiser raced really well.
