JV Baseball team traveled to Coventry High School in a home/away league matchup. Sophomore Bob Burkhard pitched five steady innings, giving up only two runs and striking out seven batters. Burkhard also helped his cause at the plate with two singles and a run scored. Freshman Alex Schneckenburger continued his strong start to the season at the plate with a single, two stolen bases and a run scored while Juniors Eli Figueroa (triple to left with an RBI) and Tim Spencer (Single and Sac Fly) helped the offensive cause. Also joining the hit parade were Sophomores Nathan Martin and Nate Bergdorf and Senior Trenton Tate, each with a single. Up next, the Bulldogs travel to Manchester High School to take on the Panthers Friday evening at 5pm.
