Quarter 1:
It’s a rain senior night! Woodridge gives up a big KO return, but takes control and Mekeal finds Arnett for an early strike from 53 yards out!

Woodridge is looking to dominate, stabbing again on the next possession. It’s 14-0 with 2:58 to go.

The Bulldogs aren’t done with the first quarter, and as time expires, Mekeal finds Snyder again, this time for 38 yards.

Quarter 2:
Woodridge kicks off to Springfield, but then fumbles and turns the ball over to the Bulldogs on their own 30. They capitalize on the position, and by 10:30 to go in the 2nd quarter, Cody scores from 7 yards making it 28-0.

Alex D’Avello picks up his 3rd turnover…meaning he’s racked up 2 interceptions and fumble recover in only 14 minutes of play. This interception gives Woodridge the ball on the Springfield 43. It’s D’Avello and Goodyear moving the ball down the field, and eventually D’Avello for a TD run. What else can he do tonight?

The half is over. Woodridge will enjoy a running clock when we start the 3rd Quarter.

Quarter 3:
It’s quiet as time slips away, but Woodridge breaks the silence at 1:39 when Goodyear breaks free for a 36 yard TD Run.

Quarter 4:
Springfield scores in the opening moments of the 4th quarter on a 45 yard scamper down the left side.

With the Bulldog future getting some playtime, Springfield is driving toward another score which will halt the running clock. At 3:06, Springfield scores again.

That’s how it ends. The Bulldogs have done what they could here at the end of the season to get into the playoffs. It’s out of their hands now.
