Strength and Conditioning


Every sport follows a weight lifting program that is specifically designed for the needs of the athlete.  All programs can be adjusted to fit the strength/skill level of each individual athlete, for each individual sport. There is open communication between the coaching staff, the athletic training staff, and the strength and conditioning staff.


The following strength and conditioning goals are what a WHS athlete should expect to achieve:

  • Prevent injury on and off the field.
  • Improve sports performance through combination of the weight room and speed/agility drills.
  • Promote life-long fitness.
